英語基數詞在句子中的句法表達

一、基數詞是表示數目的，它們在英語中的語法表達也是非常重要的。

基數詞除了在句中表達為分數、百分數、小數、時間等用法外，它們在句中也可作主語、賓語、定語、表語、同位語。例如：

two happily opened the box．

兩個人高興地打開了盒子。（作主語）

2.I need three altogether．

我總共需要三個。（作賓語）

3.I want to buy five books。

我想要買五本書（作賓語）

students are playing volleyball outside．

四個學生在外面打排球。（作定語）

are sixteen．

我們是16個人。（作表語）

three tried to finish the task before sunset．

他們三個人盡力想在日落前完成任務。（作同位語）

二、基數詞的用法有很多，所以，在運用基數詞的時候難免有些錯誤，常見的有關數詞用法有幾個易錯點，例如：

1.“一兩天”之類的表達

“一兩天”可説a day or two或one or two days。但不能説成 one day or two或a or two days。類似的有：a year or two / one or two years 一兩年 / a month or two / one or two months。

2.“一個半”之類的表達

表示“一個半”可用a…and a half或one and a half… 如：

We waited for an hour and a half. / We waited for one and a half hours. 我們等了一個半小時。

3.“每隔幾…”的表達法

如“每隔一天”的説法有every two days, every second day, every other day，“每隔3天”的説法有every three days或every third day。

4.“另外幾…”的表達法

如“另加2個星期”可説another / a further two weeks或two other / more weeks。

Applications for the job are coming in slowly in twos and threes. 申請這份工作的信件三三兩兩來得很慢。

in two twos 立刻；一轉

My pen was lost in two twos. 我的鋼筆一轉眼就不見了。

put two and two together 根據所見、所聞等推測出真相。
