Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, i’m very glad to make a speech here. today my topic is “i love you, china.”

Since the day i was born, i began to have a proud name—chinese. since the day i began to talk, the most beautiful sentence i’ve ever learnt has been “i love you, china!”

I love you, china, and i’m so proud of being a chinese. i’m proud that i’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. i’m also proud that i speak the most beautiful language in the world—chinese.

I love you, china, for i can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. last year, i got an opportunity to visit the united states of america. during my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. while at table, he looked at me and asked: “little boy, how long have you been in america?” “about a month,” i answered, “how lucky you are!” he said, “if you were living in china, how could you learn such perfect english?” i smiled and told him proudly that all the students in china are able to learn english at school. i saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “i’m proud of you, china. for you are offering us the best education.”

When i came back from the usa, my friends asked me: “how do you feel about your staying there?” “wonderful” i said. “then why do you come back?” hearing this, i told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—china. how true the saying is: “there’s no place like home!”

I love you, china. as a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. i love you, my dear motherland! i love you, china! thank you for your listening !

people are like tea bags—you have to put them in hot water before you know how strong they are." i can still remember the words that dad said to me years ago.

when i was young, i used to be very naughty. life then was like a glaball ,shining with bright colours. i had once gone down to the river bank, catching a great many worms and was afterwards punished by mum. i had ever cut the pillow towel into pieces in order to make clothes for my dolls. similarly, i was then blamed seriously. once i even put the hot iron on the floor which immediately burnt a big hole on the carpet. although i had done so many annoying things, my childhood seemed to be rather colourful. however, i had never had a clear definition about myself. but then something happened. it had made a great difference to my life and made who i am now.

I had always been afraid of having the intravenous drop in hospital. the first time i was taken to have the drop, i cried for almost half an hour and finally gave off at father's severe scolding. watching the cold needle stabbing into my skin, i cried even more loudly. at that time, i never dared to take a glance at my hand and always needed my mother to stay with me at my side. even if mum had told me many times," honey, there’s nothing to be scared of. just close your eyes and sleep." i would still keep my eyes wide open, watching the liquid flow through the bottle and never slept.

Hello, everyone. good afternoon. thank you for giving me this opportunity to talk about my top concern. i'm no.26, i'll talk about friend.

Everyone of us,rich or poor, should at least have one or two good friends. my friend will listen to me when i want to speak, will help me when i need, will take care of me when i am sick, and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.

When i was ten, i was suddenly confronted with the anguish of transferring to other school. i had to left my friends i had ever known. as a kid,i feel lonely when i study in a new environment without a person i had known. nobody i could talk, nobody could know when i feel lonely. the time when i couldn't sleep, i'll always miss them, then the tears filled my eyes.

Later, i became familar with the environment ,and made some friends ,which became my best friends then. they talked with me when i felt lonely, they helped me when i needed, they took care of me when i was sick. even through we were part, we still keep in touch with each other.

In our whole lives,we'll meet too much people but only a few can be our best friends. when staying with them,we can release ourself completely. we can do whatever we want, we can laugh together, talk together, and even cry together. i should say that being together with our best friends is the most wonderful moment of our lives.

But in this fast-developing modern society, the reality is not that. more and more people forget to enjoy the beauty of friendship. they work hard in order to gain a higher position in the society and to earn more money for their work. they have few time to share with their friends. with the time goes by, they will be far away from each other.

Friend is kind of treasure in our lives. it's actually like a bottle of wine, the longer it is kept, the sweeter it will be. it also likes a cup of hot tea, when we are in bed time, it will warm our broken hearts.

Friends, especially best friends. it is what we should have in our lives, and it can make our lives be colorful go beyond our imagination.

Thanks for your listening. this is what i concerned.

A window is opened up at the crack of dawn, beside which one man is overlooking the the mess of buildings outside, breathing the fresh air cosily. but just after a little while, he steps to his seat, staring at the computer screen till the night. this man is very likely a programmer.

There is a man who concentrates on his computer, but doesn’t care about however he dresses, or even whether he washes his face.

There is a man who has a good knowledge of computer language, but has a low eq and makes a bad relationship with others.

There is a man who stays at home and does his own work by himself day and night, but just has few friends.

These images shown above probably are what people think of programmers as, in fact, programmers indeed give us a bad impression sometimes. however, people just have a partial understanding of programmers’ life, not to mention that they can know the fun of programming. there is no doubt that programs affect all aspects of our lives in an obvious or potential way, especially they are reflected in electronic products that we use nowadays.

When you are so proud of possessing an iphone, you’d better remember that it is the program that makes you get confidence to show off the advanced mobile phones thoroughly.

When you take advantage of computers to cope with problems in life, you’d better remember that it is the program that makes you seek the convenience of computer.

When you needn’t worry about hot summer and cold winter owing to an air-conditioner, you’d better remember that it is the program that makes you share the machine’s intelligent.

When you release your pressure by playing varies of online games, you’d better remember that it is the program that makes you enjoy the great entertainment in life.

As people’s thoughts control their bodies, computer programs play a leading role in the modern times. both social progress and human evolution depend on the computer programs. in the practical application, a software consists of different programs and then combines with hardware to develop into a high-tech electronic product. there are many kinds of electronic products found everywhere in our daily life. nearly all the time do we make use of these products to conduct our passion.

Dear classmates,

Every one of us, rich or poor, should at least have one or two good friends. my friends will listen to me when i want to speak, will wipe my eyes when i cry, will take care of me when i am sick, and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.

As students, we could share more time with our friends. the friendship in our young hearts is pure, fresh and simple. i often feel very lucky to have a lot of good friends. especially when i had justin as one of my best friends. justin was my english teacher from the usa. i met him in 1996 when i was a student who could only speak very little english. justin was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face, and he always had his special way to make the class active and attractive. he taught us english by telling stories, playing games, singing songs, and even dancing. i could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class, we went to some other classes to sing songs for them, just like what people do in the states on christmas eve. it was so interesting and unforgettable. justin was an excellent teacher, because he taught us not only how to study english well, but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives. i know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts. facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important, the real importance lay in faith, under-standing, and care. justin is the best friend i have ever had, and i know i will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.

Friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. it is actually like a bottle of wine, the longer it is kept, the sweeter it will be. it is also like a cup of tea. when we are thirsty, it will be our best choice, but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves, it is also the most fragrant drink.

However, in this fast-developing modern society, the reality is not that. more and more people forget to enjoy the beauty of life and -the beauty of friendship. they work hard in order to gain a higher position, in the society and to earn more money for their work. of course, we don't deny that it is important to find a bet-ter place in our lives, but we wish more and more people could pay a little more attention to themselves and their friends. all of us have to spare some time for personal lives. we have to find the chance to express our emotion and love. when staying with our friends, we can release ourselves completely. we can do whatever we want, we can laugh together, talk together, and even cry to-gether. i should say that being together with our best friends is the most wonderful moment of our lives.

As we know, we would feel lonely if we didn't even have a friend. but it doesn't mean we could depend on our friends all the time. there is a famous motto saying that “a friend is like a quilt with cotton wadding, but the real thing that keeps you warm is your own temperature.” it is really true. we have to work hard together with our friends, encourage each other and help each other. when we receive love and friendship, we should repay as much as we can.

finally, let's pray together now that one day, all of us could find the person we want to find, and could enjoy a real beautiful friendship in our lives. let's pray the flower of friendship be-tween our friends and us would always bloom brightly in our hearts.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

There are more than friendship feeling making a person warmth? Good wine is rare, buddy harder. Friend is friend, and none can anything replace, absolutely nothing can describe - is all of the world, also cannot match friendship rose fragrance and beautiful.

Friends, or the world's most pleasant things. Friendship, is the world's most cannot lack of things. On a depressed people, friends, or even an encouraging than all the medicine are useful.

Friends good relationships between both friendship, including understanding and appreciation, trust, tolerance, sacrifice... Many virtues. Friendship is the rain is the dark umbrella, flax, sail boat is the way the wind, rugged mountain trail armrest, friendship is one which isn't locked room, you can always knocking into; Friendship is the key that can help you open your door.

However friendship is not available, is to keep the friendship of standard reduce some can really ChenDeQi friends or very rare. Just think, if have money handling a trusted friend, you can have a few people? In your CengDeng frustrated or disease trouble also willing customarily6 wrapped and timely help a friend again several people? You go out in the outside occasion for your family will add caregivers and how many? Take a further step drawing-room serving those MoNi in mind, can maintain long in the fall, and there were several people? The world is a friend of mine, but although no waving lantern to find, but he is like sand gold rush, and still need long time closing. Once the true friendship, can cast bronze jian, never back with the turn.

Adversity of friendship. Well, in trouble, was suffering from a friend's help then to appear particularly valuable. Sometimes, even if it is a dead concerns well-meaning eyes, will also be like a bunch of coals, in snow and ice in sending you warm. When you were successful and proud head, the friendship will like a pot of water, hood, put your head spilled to pour awake.

Yes, friendship is perfected, is urgently needed, friendship is the sunlight avenue, more rugged climb to hike on the mutual walker.

Friendship is a tree, with sincere and devotion to pour out, with trust and tolerance to cultivation. Jealousy and suspicion is poison, can make the roots of friendship, loss of life leaves focal green.

Friendship is intimate conversation, is silenced's care. Friendship is never requiting paying, is unrestrained equal communication. Friendship is understanding, respect, from an open heart into another open heart. Friendship is expelled loneliness and despair of power.

Friendship of joy is active. A person, though fame prominent, zhong twining waist, if there is no one can open thoracic forbidden by heart a heart of a true friend, ultimately sad pity. No friendship of life, is incomplete life, not worthy of envy.

No friendship, no friend of life, was a gloomy life, is a failure of life.

Thank you!

Hello, ladies and gentlemen! It is my honor to share my topic with you here. And my topic is Time Is Valuable. Time flies. The article cong cong of Zhu Ziqing also tells us time is rare. We all know that :Time is life, at home we have parents advisement, at school we have teachers advisement. But who treasures time as life?

Now let’s enjoy a story: One day a young man visited great educator Banjieming. When Banjieming opened the door, to the young man’s great surprise.: his house was very dirty. “I’m sorry, It’s too dirty. Wait a minute please. Banjieming said and closed the door.

One minute later, Banjieming opened the door again and said: come in please . This time what the young man saw was a clean and clear sitting room.

“OK, You may go now. Banjieming said , “But I , I havn’t remit to you”. The young man asked. “Isn’t it enough? Looking at the room, “ Banjieming said. “You have been here for one minute.” “One minute? One minute, Oh I know. You tell me a truth: We can do many things in a minute.” The young man left with satisfaction.

The story is short but meaningful. Just like the story says:

one minute isn’t long. But our life is made of such minutes. In fact only treasure time , will you succeed, only treasure time, will you realize your ideal. Only treasure time will you achieve what you want.

We should make good use of time to study hard or to do something meaningful for yourself. So, we should plan the time to study and relax, especially at use we have more free time at home,so that we can use that time to do a lot of things.

However, how can we plan the time? There are different ways for different example, somebody like to study in the morning, and relax in the the contrary, somebody like to relax in the morning, and study in the body even think the best time to study is in the erent ways for different all the ways have one thing in common.

That is the need for practical action. If you want to change a difficult situation, if you want to change yourself, if you want to make good use of time to study, you must put into not, your plan will be not meaningful.

So dear fiends, please treasure every minutes of your life. Only like this will you have an excellent future. Thank you very much.

Everybody attention

So now i'd like to share with you what's in my suitcase today. guess what? books. i have a suitcase full of books. here's margaret atwood, “cat's eye.“ here's a novel by milan kundera. and here's “the guide for the perplexed“ by maimonides. but these are not exactly my books. i brought these books with me because they were written by my grandfather's favorite authors.

My grandfather was a rabbi and he was a widower who lived alone in a small apartment in brooklyn that was my favorite place in the world when i was growing up, partly because it was filled with his very gentle, very courtly presence and partly because it was filled with books. i mean literally every table, every chair in this apartment had yielded its original function to now serve as a surface for swaying stacks of books. just like the rest of my family, my grandfather's favorite thing to do in the whole world was to read.

But he also loved his congregation, and you could feel this love in the sermons that he gave every week for the 62 years that he was a rabbi. he would takes the fruits of each week's reading and he would weave these intricate tapestries of ancient and humanist thought. and people would come from all over to hear him speak.

But here's the thing about my grandfather. underneath this ceremonial role, he was really modest and really introverted -- so much so that when he delivered these sermons, he had trouble making eye contact with the very same congregation that he had been speaking to for 62 years. and even away from the podium, when you called him to say hello, he would often end the conversation prematurely for fear that he was taking up too much of your time. but when he died at the age of 94, the police had to close down the streets of his neighborhood to accommodate the crowd of people who came out to mourn him. and so these days i try to learn from my grandfather's example in my own way.

Iadies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

I am chinese. i am proud of being a chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. i've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. i've learned about the great wall and the yangtze river. i've learned about zhang heng(張衡)and i've learned about zheng he(鄭和) says the yellow river civilization has vanished(消失)?i know that my ancestors have made miracles(奇蹟)on this fertile land and we're still making miracles. who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our gnp ranks no. 7 in the world? we have experienced the plunders (掠奪) by other nations, and we have experienced the war. yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----china, unyielding and unconquerable!

I once came across an american tourist. she said, “china has a history of five thousand years, but the us only has a history of 200 years. five thousand years ago, china took the lead in the world, and now it is the us that is leading.”my heart was deeply touched by these words. it is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise (鄙視) ourselves. we have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. we have reasons to say proudly:we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑戰) are great, but our will is even greater.

I am chinese. i have inherited (繼承) black hair and black eyes. i have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. i have also taken over responsibility. i am sure, that wherever i go, whatever i do, i shall never forget that i am chinese!

Okay, number two: go to the wilderness. be like buddha, have your own revelations. i'm not saying that we all have to now go off and build our own cabins in the woods and never talk to each other again, but i am saying that we could all stand to unplug and get inside our own heads a little more often.

Number three: take a good look at what's inside your own suitcase and why you put it there. so extroverts, maybe your suitcases are also full of books. or maybe they're full of champagne glasses or skydiving equipment. whatever it is, i hope you take these things out every chance you get and grace us with your energy and your joy. but introverts, you being you, you probably have the impulse to guard very carefully what's inside your own suitcase. and that's okay. but occasionally, just occasionally, i hope you will open up your suitcases for other people to see, because the world needs you and it needs the things you carry.

So i wish you the best of all possible journeys and the courage to speak softly.

Thank you very much.

(applause)

So i just published a book about introversion, and it took me about seven years to write. and for me, that seven years was like total bliss, because i was reading, i was writing, i was thinking, i was researching. it was my version of my grandfather's hours of the day alone in his library. but now all of a sudden my job is very different, and my job is to be out here talking about it, talking about introversion. (laughter) and that's a lot harder for me, because as honored as i am to be here with all of you right now, this is not my natural milieu.

So i prepared for moments like these as best i could. i spent the last year practicing public speaking every chance i could get. and i call this my “year of speaking dangerously.“ (laughter) and that actually helped a lot. but i'll tell you, what helps even more is my sense, my belief, my hope that when it comes to our attitudes to introversion and to quiet and to solitude, we truly are poised on the brink on dramatic change. i mean, we are. and so i am going to leave you now with three calls for action for those who share this vision.

Number one: stop the madness for constant group work. just stop it. (laughter) thank you. (applause) and i want to be clear about what i'm saying, because i deeply believe our offices should be encouraging casual, chatty cafe-style types of interactions -- you know, the kind where people come together and serendipitously have an exchange of ideas. that is great. it's great for introverts and it's great for extroverts. but we need much more privacy and much more freedom and much more autonomy at work. school, same thing. we need to be teaching kids to work together, for sure, but we also need to be teaching them how to work on their own. this is especially important for extroverted children too. they need to work on their own because that is where deep thought comes from in part.

My definition of success

Today i am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. what is success? it is what everyone is longing times success would be rather simple. winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now i amstanding here giving my speech is somehow also success.

However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. is fortune success? is fame success? is high social status success? no, i don’t think so. i believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and days, in the modern society there are many people who are regarded as the successful. and the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. so most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. but the problem is wether it is real success. we all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. if we keep chasing them, where is the end? what will satisfy us at last? therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is the realization of people’ hopes and ideals.

Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.

What is success? everyone has his own interpretation as i do. but i am sure every success leads to an ever-brighter future. so ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a successful life! wish you all good success!
